When To Mail Out Wedding Invitations




When preparing your special event, there are for sure a lot of costs included in the set up of your ceremony, but only a small percentage of the wedding costs are being given out for the wedding invitations, at about three to six percent.




After discussing and deciding on your definitive guest list, and the style and design of your wedding invitations, it is time for you to send them out to the ones attending your wedding celebration. If you decide to mail out your wedding invitations, make sure you do that at lest eight weeks before the wedding, to allow your guests enough time to respond and confirm their attendance, but also yourself, in order to know exactly for how many persons to prepare your wedding, to talk to the caters in due time about food and drinks.

If marrying close to a major holiday, mail out your invitations a few weeks earlier,  maybe three weeks earlier than usual, because your guest might already have plans for the holiday approaching, so take care of the mailing of your invites in about 12  weeks before the wedding. By mailing out your invitations at least 8-12 weeks before your wedding, you’ll be able to adjust your guest list as the ‘regrets’ responses arrive, adding on guests, who were firstly squeezed off your list. Make sure your invitations arrive in due time to all your guests. Do not think that the attendants of your bridal shower party already know all the details of your wedding, so they should not receive an invite anymore, because this conception is totally wrong. Each and every member should receive an invitation, so you avoid any type of discution or dislikes. Moreover, everyone will be able to have a beautiful keepsake of your wedding and their attendance to it.

But in order to send them out, you must be sure you ordered the invitations in the right period of time. If you choose to order your wedding announcements from a popular stationery, you should take some time in advance, so they won`t be to busy and your wedding invitations arrive that way too late. Invitations should be ordered minimum four months before the event, and if it is a large wedding you are organizing, make them at least five or six months before.  That way, you obey having undesired surprises, and you will not be stressed out about this fact anymore. When deciding how on the method you want to send out your invitations, go for mailing them because this option is a whole lot cheaper and more efficient than others. Nowadays, internet is safe in terms of data sending, no matter the type, everyone should be able to use a personal computer and to have an internet connection, so you should not worry, they will not arrive at the right place and time. Furthermore, remember that by mailing your invites, they will arrive immediately, in comparison to the post.
