Wedding invitations + fall theme! You will think it would be difficult to find something in common, in order to create a beautiful and unique design for your cards. I have to tell you that is easier than ever, the season itself is a very romantic theme, so use it in your invitations. They are tone setters for a wedding and the first detail given to guests regarding the event they are invited to.

It is true that autumn is not a traditional season for getting married, but its cooler temperatures are often very tempting for the young couple.

If organizing a formal wedding ceremony, sticking with traditional will be the bets. So a chocolate brown or burgundy for envelopes, decorated with fall stamps, will be a good choice. You can decorate them with ribbons or a fall foliage.

For a black tie ceremony, the colors of the invitation may be black and white. So you'll have stylish, but simple, cards. For an October event, pumpkins – stickers or stamps - may be an interesting and original choice.



For a traditional event, seals and stickers will be appropriate: leaves, apples, cornucopias or even scarecrow. Use one of these symbols in combination with brown or gold wax seals.

A casual ceremony may be accompanied by colorful invitations. Dark brown and orange are representative for autumn. Now you have more options and cards decorated with fall scenes or images with trees, wheat or pumpkins will impress your guests. You can put them on the envelope or on the paper inside.

Decorate the “ball room” using brown, red, orange and yellow ribbons and wheat to decorate the entrance. On the tables carved pumpkins with candles inside will look fabulous.

The foods served can be representative for this season: chicken and turkey in combination with potatoes, mushrooms and pumpkins. Don't left out apples form the menu: cider or caramel apples will surely appreciated by the guests. What do you say about roasted turkey, pumpkin pie and warm apple cider? It sounds tasty, isn't it?

The cake must be a masterpiece, but one that reminds of the center theme of the wedding. Impress the guests with a spiced chocolate cake, tricked up with marzipan fruits. You will be very appreciated if you give every guests a little souvenir from your ceremony: decorated little pumpkins, ornamental corn tied with a beautiful ribbon or homemade preserves.
