Wedding Invitation Reply Card Wording Menu Selection

When it comes to choosing the wedding invitation, the bride and groom don’t have it easy. Usually this task belongs to the bride but men should also be involved. Lucky when choosing the reply card wording the task is relatively easy. These kind of cards serve two major purposes, the first and the most important one is to ask for an RSVP from the guest confirming their attendance at the wedding and will also permit them to choose any meal choices if they have any. But finding the proper wording for these kinds of cards can be a bit difficult.

You need to make sure that all the meal choices are very clear so that the guests will surely understand the menu choices that they have. You will first need to talk to a caterer so you can decide on the menu.

You can list the entire ingredients or just the basic ones. You need to make sure that the people who are coming to your wedding eat meat and if they don’t you can add a vegan menu to the list as well. You will also have to decide if you want to make the invites for individual or for a group like a family for instance.

The meal choices will need to be listed underneath the RSVP data or you can also list it on the back of the card if you wish. As fro the wording part, you can use “please check a meal option below” or “indicate the meal of your choice” etc. Make sure you leave space like a line for the guests to indicate their options. The whole purpose of this is for you to decide on the type of food you want to serve and also what are your guest’s preferences. After all you are doing this so that they can enjoy your wedding and the menu you have selected with their help. Just look online and you will find some sample wording which will help you figure out what to say in the reply cards.
