Wedding invitation need to feel people welcomed to the happy event. Once the design is set, the theme is decided, the color chosen and the borders as well one last step is left: wording. Maybe it’s the hardest detail about a wedding invitation. Not only that it’ s extremely complicated to sum up in a few line some important words but it’s also hard to choose those words. There are many things to take into consideration. After all you don’t want to leave out any important name.
Unique wording for wedding invitations depends on how hard you try to achieve that. The first thing to do is to decide whatever you want something with a traditional touch or go for something less rigid and more flexible. If any of the parents are contributing financial to the wedding then the rule of putting their name is mandatory. People, in general don’t pay too much attention to the little details on the wedding invitation or for that matter on any invitation. Sometime what seems important in your “world” it may be overlooked by others. However, this is not an excuse to leave out any element.
Any unique wording on a wedding invitation should start with the basic. Inform the guests who is making the invitations, who are the parents, where is the ceremony taking place and the party following, including here date, place, hour. This is the basic of what should be written on the invitation. In case you don’t feel inspired then pick a wording wedding invitation guide. These guides facilitate your work, giving you some great examples. Of course, the templates differ from wedding to wedding and from situation to situation.

If there is no financial involvement from the parents and the wedding is paid by the bride and groom, then only their names should appear on the invitation. Depending on how creative the happy couple is the invitation can sound more or less original. If the family is helping the couple to start their new life it is a nice gesture to include their names in the text. The adjectives you go for must capture so many nuances. Is it lovely reception or are you happy, excited, cordial? Is the party going to be great? Are you pleased or honored to make the invitation? Not very easy to picture all this.
It’s hard to choose the words to describe the atmosphere, the feelings or the emotions that a wedding create. The unusual the wedding, the unusual the wedding invitation must be. Customize the wording after your character. Being unique is the happy combination between the basic and a personal touch. It really counts what you bring under personal touch.
Be yourself! In some cases it’s enough in order to be unique!
