Post Wedding Reception Invitations
When my friend announced me of her wedding event I knew from the very beginning that I won’t be able to attend to. And the same happened to some of other mutual friends because the wedding date was fixed on a day that most of us had planned already the summer holiday with flight tickets already bought, accommodations already booked and so on. Maybe our declining didn’t bring pleasure and content to our friend, especially with the excitement of her upcoming event, but what were we supposed to do? Cancel something it was already paid for? So, not less were we surprised to receive one day by mail the
post wedding receptions invitations sent on behalf of her parents. They have understood how important our attendance to their daughter’s wedding had been, since she used to tell them during the wedding celebration that she would have liked for us to be there too.
They waited till the newly weds came back from their honeymoon and soon after that they secretly organized the post wedding reception. I was also excited to attend to the event, especially that I had missed the D day, and for this I let immediately my friend’s parents know that I will be there and nothing in the world would have stopped me from being at the reception. But what in fact surprised me the most was the original way they have thought of creating these post wedding reception invitations.

I have called them to announce my attendance and at the same time I congratulated the mom on the occasion of her daughter’s wedding and expressed my regrets not to be able to have it attended at that time. In our conversation I slipped also my amazing in regard to the creation of the invitations telling her that in fact they looked more originally and inventive than the ones for the actual wedding reception. She thanked me for the compliment I was paying and said that she had those invitation cards made by a nephew of hers who used to work in the creative department of decorating the gardens and his eye was really very experienced in regard to the color, style and design.

Not to mention that working with flowers to arrange their way to be displayed to the viewers in a manner that pleases both the yes and the souls is a challenging task and this one has helped him in the creation of the post wedding invitations. The card itself was replaced by an orange daisy dried in a way that it didn’t break the petals and the wording was written on each petal with a special ink or marker; I couldn’t figure out. But the overall aspect of the invitation was quite unique and the golden frame made out from damask fabric came with the daisy in a separate envelope inviting the one who received the daisy to have it stuck within those borders and keep it is a memory of the reception day. I really liked the way this invitation was made and I said to myself that whenever I would need an invitation card to be made I would definitely ask for the services of this skilled garden decorator guy.
