40th Wedding Anniversary Invitations

Even if it is the first or the 40th , a wedding anniversary is a special thing.

As John Burger said:Every matrimony is the same,but each marriage is different.

The tradition of giving a name to every anniversary is very old.It says that every gift they will receive, must be made of the same material as the material represents that occasion.

At the 40th years of marriage anniversary,you celebrate the ruby wedding.Ruby, is a love and passion stone,and it is considered the patron of love and happiness.At this anniversary,the husband is giving his wife a ruby ring,or is putting a ruby in the old wedding ring,and as gifts,jewelery made of ruby and garnet.Those presents have a sentimental value, they do not have to be expensive.

At the party everything is ruby red,and the ine, must be a very good one red,a collection one.

The invitations must be made to relatives and close friends,and we should specify the reason for the party.

Finding my inspiration for this article, in my searches I found something like a joke-that might like a lot to all the women- and it sounded like this:

back in the 60”s, a married couple who was celebrating their 40th anniversary in a quiet romantic restaurant.Suddenly, a beautiful tiny fairy appeared on their table, and she said that because they were such an exemplary married couple and for being loving to each other for so long time they will be granted with a wish for each one.The wife , you know how women are, said that she would love to travel around the world with her darling husband.Then, the fairy waved her magic wand and – poof-there were two tickets for the Queen Mary II,appeared in her hands.The husband, what was he thinking?This is very romantic, but he will never get such a opportunity again, and, after he apologizes to his dear wife, and said that his wish is to have a wife 30 years younger than him.The wife and fairy were very disappointed but ,a wish is a wish.And so the fairy waved her magic-wand,and poof!…the husband became 92 years old!And the moral of the story:men who are ungrateful idiots should remember fairies are females.

At the 40th wedding anniversary, you can make a notebook,shiny as a ruby, impressions note book or a Bordeaux guest book, accessorized with a small ruby brooch, shaped as a diamond,where guests can write their impressions after the party.

At the 40th years anniversary you must do a trip and also a honey moon.

For this celebration, it is nice to write your own wedding invitations.You can choose which model you like, have it printed, and then,you will write the invitations yourself.This is a very personal  and lovely thing,because now you do not have so much guests as you had in your wedding day.

So .at your close friends, you will write a funny story since when you were on a trip, or holiday, and then put on paper the address where they must be.

And for children and relatives the same,or you can put a funny picture with them when they got baptized,or a birthday party.

The anniversary must not have so much fast like the wedding itself.
